Featuring Gary Sinise (bass), founding member of Steppenwolf Theatre
Company Co-Founder of Operation Iraqi Children, and Kimo Williams (guitar/vocals),
among an ensemble of more than ten band members and special guests, the Lieutenant
Dan Band covers everything from Springsteen to Linkin Park,

brings to the stage!
The Concert for Peace and the One Peace at a Time quilt exhibition are an extension of GATC’s Peace it Together program, which brought the Middle East Peace Quilt to Chicago in March 2006. As part of this program, and now One Peace at a Time, over 300 students between the ages 8 – 17 living in the Chicagoland area will create quilt squares that promote their expressions for world peace. The quilts will be displayed at the One of a Kind Show and will then travel to museums of peace and tolerance across the country before being sent to children in Iraq.
Celebrating its seventh anniversary in 2006, Genesis at the Crossroads is a Chicago-based non-profit organization that bridges cultures in conflict through the performing, visual, literary and culinary arts. The mission of Genesis at the Crossroads is to use the arts to bridge cultures in conflict and to create innovative arts education programs around the world.
The One of a Kind Show, featuring thousands of one-of-a-kind items each made by hand by over 400 of North America’s most talented fine artists, will take place on the 8th floor of the Merchandise Mart, December 7 – 10, 2006.
